Shanna Lien

SHANNA LIEN, Director of Operations/Events

Shanna Lien hails from the Black Hills of South Dakota and landed in the beach enclave of Manhattan Beach, California in 2002. Leveraging her 25+ years of restaurant experience, Shanna joined Michael Zislis in 2011, as she developed his new vision for The Strand House.

Shanna works closely alongside Chef Greg Hozinsky and General Manager Michael Morrisette putting systems in place creating a consistent and seamless experience for guests of The Strand House. Along with operational duties, Shanna oversees all on site events, including private dinners and The Strand House’s famed Culinary Masters Series.

Shanna graduated from Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!) with a degree in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Psychology. On her down time, Shanna’s wanderlust spirit carries her around the world experiencing new cultures, unique cuisines and interesting wines.
