Michael Morrisette’s dedication and natural warmth, is the heartbeat of The Strand House.

Michael served as the General Manager/partner of The Strand House working along side the Executive Chef, overseeing day-to-day operations and leading the front-of-house team for over 9 years. Growing up, Michael spent hours working at his family’s restaurant in Springfield, Oregon and has gone on to work with five globally recognized chefs who have landed on Food & Wine Magazine’s revered “Best New Chefs” list.

Michael has held management positions at La Cachette, Café del Rey and Maple Drive restaurants, all located in the Los Angeles area. After spending time with Daniel Abatu’s Le Gourmandin restaurant in Lyons, France, Michael returned to Los Angeles to help famed Chef Josiah Citrin open Melisse, rated by Zagat as the #1 French Restaurant in Los Angeles, as well as a Four-Star Mobil Travel Guide rating.

Guiding a team of over 125 servers, hosts, bartenders and more while creating the perfect dining experience for his guests is essential to satisfying his philosophical approach to hospitality. Equally important is creating the ultimate work environment for the Strand House’s amazing team.
